Reception in Larimore Hall
After our Evening Service all are invited to join with us as we enjoy light refreshments downstairs in Larimore Hall.
After existing as a mission of Walnut Street Baptist Church for nearly ten years, Third Avenue Baptist Church constituted itself as a church on December 12, 1894. 125 years later, we continue our ministry in the same location with the same mission. During our Evening Service hour, we will have a panel with current and former elders of Third Avenue.
During our morning service, we will give thanks to God for all His faithfulness to us throughout the years. We will also be taking the Lord’s Supper together.
On Sunday, October 20, we’ll plan a special Evening Service of singing older hymns, joining our voices in praise to our God with the saints who have come before us.
Bruce Keisling, one of the elders at Third Avenue, will be teaching a Sunday School class in the main hall on the history of Third Avenue. You won’t want to miss it!
We hope to try to recreate some vintage church photographs! Nursery will close at 10:30 AM, so please pick up your children and join us in the Main Hall for the photograph!
