Ryan and Kristin

Ryan first joined Third Avenue in 2011 when he moved to Louisville to attend seminary. After serving in 3ABC's international ministry for two years, he traveled to East Asia in 2013 on a 3ABC mission trip, where he met Kristin, who was already living and doing ministry in that region. They were married in 2014, and for the next three years they lived in Louisville where they both benefitted from seminary, and even more so from folding deeply into the life of such a faithful community that is Third Avenue. Not long after completing seminary in 2017, they became 3ABC supported workers and moved to East Asia where it all started for them. They love that both East Asia and Third Avenue continue to be a part of their story. While they never would have guessed the Lord would lead them back to where they first met, and bless them with two precious daughters (Reagan and Kara) along the way, they couldn't be happier with the life and ministry He has currently given them. Their ministry focus is local university evangelism and discipleship, as well as discipling in the English-speaking church where Ryan serves as pastor.

Chris and Lisa

Chris came to Third Avenue back in 2005 as an undergrad at UofL. After 5 years of being faithfully discipled, he met Lisa and in 2010 they were sent to begin serving in East Asia. There, they were involved in evangelism and discipleship among college students as well as planting churches among English speakers. Every year, a major highlight was hosting summer evangelistic teams from 3ABC. They returned to the US in 2020 where Chris is currently serving with Reaching and Teaching (RTIM).
