Old Louisville Neighborhood Council

Old Louisville Neighborhood Council (OLNC) exists “To advocate, promote, and protect Old Louisville’s historic architecture and streetscapes within a diverse neighborhood of residents and businesses while advancing artistic and cultural events to build community.” Check out the number of ways Third Avenue is helping them accomplish this!

Neighborhood Schools

The University of Louisville and Spalding University bookend Old Louisville’s north and south border. Located in between these two universities is Cochran Elementary, Noe Middle School, and DuPont Manual High School. Third Avenue is proud to serve these neighborhood schools in different ways. Consider how you can help us in the areas of reading programs, homework help, and athletics.

Community Support

Old Louisville is committed to bringing education, awareness, tourism and economic development to the neighborhood. We look forward to building stronger and deeper community within the neighborhood by supporting one another in these shared interests. We’re always looking for particular needs or additional creative ideas to better serve and encourage our neighbors. Do you have any?
