Third Avenue is located in beautiful Old Louisville, a diverse neighborhood famous for showcasing the highest density of Victorian-style homes in the United States. Old Louisville represents approximately 10,000 residents, consisting of 15 neighborhood associations. We’d love for you to join us in our desire to love, serve and support our neighbors.
Across Campus
Across Campus is a ministry of Third Avenue Baptist Church located next door to the University of Louisville. For years we’ve had the opportunity to reach college students and build them up to be faithful representatives of Christ on campus, the church, the workplace, and around the world. Mercy
Because all people are created in the image of God and possess dignity, value and worth, we aim to be an impartial people reflecting the character of God by extending in both word and deed the transforming hope of the gospel among the vulnerable and marginalized in our city. Take a look at the number of ways our church members are mobilized across the city.
Church Planting & Revitalization
The church is God’s primary means of calling people to himself and growing them in Christ. In the last 20 years, by God’s grace, Third Avenue has gone from being a weak, feeble church revitalization to being strong and healthy enough to support church plant and revitalization efforts across the city, country and world. We’d love for you to consider joining us in these efforts!
